The consulting firms, Transae and Aertec, mandated by Lyon Carex, conducted a study to analyze the organization and the cost of handling within the Euro Carex project. The results have validated the consistency of studies already conducted by Liège Carex and Amsterdam Carex. Transae and Aertec also presented recommendations to guide the drafting of specifications across the European network.
A Euro Carex delegation met representatives of the Italian rail transport company Mercitalia, which will launch a high-speed railfreight service in Italy in October 2018.
